Memorial Necklace

 

The chocolate minstrel is my favourite chocolate and the shape of it is very tactile.  I decided to make a piece of jewellery using this design. 

 

I cut out 2 discs and curved them using the brass curving block.  It’s then that I place the ashes into one of the sides and then solder the two parts together. 

 

When I’m asked to make one of these special pieces I always send the customer a video of me placing the ashes inside thus reassuring them they are safe in there.

 

Tiny little hearts can be soldered onto the front of the pendant too.
